Economy

The volume and complexity of regulations distract small business owners from success in the marketplace. Their focus becomes “management to prioritize compliance over growth and innovation.” About half of all new businesses fail by the fifth year, so entrepreneurs are in a desperate struggle to survive.

However, in order for businesses to thrive, government must get out of the way. This means reducing regulatory burdens, keeping taxes low and allowing markets to work using the forces of supply and demand.

Infrastructure

We must maintain our infrastructure. Any increased investment in federal infrastructure funding must ensure that small and rural communities are getting a fair shake and are not being left behind.

Community Empowerment

Strengthen community bonds by supporting local initiatives that encourage civic engagement, volunteerism, and community outreach. Advocate for programs that promote self-reliance, encourage community cohesion, and empower individuals to take ownership of local issues.

Enhance Public Safety

Advocate for law and order by supporting measures that enhance public safety, such as increasing police presence, equipping law enforcement with necessary resources, and enforcing strict penalties for repeat offenders and providing more alternatives for rehabilitation, ensuring the district remains a safe place to live and work.
